Since 2007, Transportes Belda has been an active member of the ECTA association (European Chemical Transport Association). Collaborating in its mission to improve efficiency and safety standards, as well as the environmental and social impact of transport and logistics of chemical products in Europe.

The entire vehicle fleet of Belda is equipped with the highest safety measures complying with the most stringent European regulations on environmental pollution, such as EURO VI. We also have an excellent team of professionals who manage traffic to ensure safe, fast and quality service. Auxiliary vehicles, 24-hour mechanics service, and safety equipment in all vehicles.

Transportes Belda is highly concerned with all aspects of safety, and puts special emphasis on:
· Compliance with internal security standards, as well as those established by our clients.
· Individual protective equipment for our drivers.
· Introduction into our fleet of the most advanced active safety systems: anti-tilt and stability control systems, front collision warning and emergency braking, lane tracking system and exit warning, etc.

Following the indications of the SQAS certification, Transportes Belda has implemented the BBS training program (Behaviour Based Safety), with the intention of increasing safety in road transportation by positively influencing the conduct of personnel, through observation, preparation and communication. The object of this program is improvement in safety, as well as the reduction of emissions to the environment through more efficient driving.

To keep the information constantly updated, Belda Transport drivers have a driver's manual, where they have the necessary information as well as the protocols and standards of our customers.

As part of the commitment to safety during work, the Transportes Belda policy includes the ZERO Alcohol and Drug Policy, in order to completely eliminate consumption, to prevent accidents, as well as to comply with current regulations.

Likewise, we have implemented a continuous training program adapted to the staff of each department:

BBS TRAINING: SAFETY CONDUCT
· Strengthen the safety culture within the company.
· Reduce accidents and incidents.
· Reduce costs linked to unsafe situations.
· Reduce emissions as a result of the reduction of fuel consumption.

TRAINING ON PROTECTION AND EMERGENCIES:
· Training aimed at knowledge of aspects of protection during transportation, communication of incidents, the emergency plan of the company, and associated actions.
· Training on the Special Protection Plan for the transport of certain dangerous goods.

PLR TRAINING (PREVENTION OF LABOUR RISKS):
· Training aimed at understanding the risks associated with the different activities, use of EPIs, product handling, fatigue/weariness, working at heights, confined spaces, etc.
